One of our favorite breeds of toy dog is the Pug!
Some disagreement exists regarding the manner in which pug came to be applied to these endearing, impish, sometimes demonic little monkeys that were great favorites at court if not with courtesans. Many people believe that pug first was applied to monkeys, and , after certain facial resemblances between monkeys and the little dogs with the curly tails had been noted the word was applied to the dogs, too.the pug isan oriental breed, whose common forebears are the Pekingese and the lion dog, the ancestor of today's Shih Tzu, who's country of orgin is China. the breed enrolled with the AKC and in 1998 the breed ranked 17th out of 146 breeds. Pugs were first introduced to America shortly after the civil war. Pugs come in two colors//buff with a black >facial mask and ears and solid black.

CARING FOR A CAT
VACCINATIONS: A KITTEN IS PROTECTED FROM INGECTION UP TO THE AGE OF EIGHT OR SO WEEKS BY ANTIBODIES IT HAS RECEIVED FROM ITS MOTHER. The first visit to a veterinarian should take place after this period, so that it may receive its first vaccination against cat typhoid-distemper(panleukopenia). Even today, numerous free-roaming kittns succumb to this disease. A week prior to this, i.e., at seven weeks. This vaccination is repeated after a year. Older cats can be immunized with a live vaccine which, according to the manufacturers, promises longer protection. There is also a vaccine against certain secondary infections after a cat has a cvold, but this is only undertaken by a veterinarian whe valid reason exists to fear further infection a vaccination agains rabbies is also recommended.
